Digital Health Innovation Community of Practice

The future of medicine is now. How can osteopathic physicians be competent in the new digital world of healthcare? How do we apply osteopathic principles to care in partnership with technology and artificial intelligence? How does our profession lead this new era of medicine? Help us answer these questions and more to define the new era of osteopathic medicine.

About

The American Osteopathic Information Association has launched a Digital Health Innovation (DHI) Community of Practice (CoP) to integrate osteopathic principles into digital health advancement. The community aims to facilitate collaboration, drive innovation and provide networking opportunities for stakeholders across the osteopathic continuum. Participation in the community offers educational opportunities, professional development and a platform to inform digital health policy and advocacy efforts while promoting the use of technology in alignment with osteopathic principles.

Through the DHI CoP, stakeholders can advance osteopathic distinctions in digital health initiatives, enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration, and drive engagement and innovation. By participating in the community, individuals can contribute to the shaping of digital health technologies, engage with thought leaders and support the application of Clinical Informatics as a sub-specialty within the osteopathic profession. Ultimately, the DHI CoP serves as a vital platform for individuals to connect, learn and advocate for the integration of osteopathic principles in the future of medicine.
