OPAC
The Osteopathic Political Action Committee (OPAC), the political arm of the American Osteopathic Information Association (AOIA) and the sole political action committee representing osteopathic physicians on the federal level, was established in 1979 to be the voice of the osteopathic profession in campaigns and elections.
Physician Services
The AOIA’s Physician Services team works directly with payers to influence policy decisions, advocate for advantageous payment reforms, and address coverage and access issues of critical importance to DOs and osteopathic medical students.
Profiles
AOA Profiles is the primary source for verifying osteopathic physician credentials information from the American Osteopathic Association state medical licensing boards, hospital medical staff administrators, and health plans. Through this service, Healthcare Organizations, CVOs, or State Boards can order profiles.
